Here's a little game I worked on a while back that has only just been released for iPhone/iPpod touch and iPad.

Originally I was brought in to provide the art but it soon become clear the game required some proper level designs as the ones provided were all over the place.So as well as creating all the game art I also designed the majority of the levels.

A future blog update will be appearing soon detailing the creation of the art and how some of the levels were designed and constructed..

This is also the first game I've worked on where I used the excellent Inkscape to create all the art seen in the game. A real tesitment to the quality of Open Source software.

1000 Tiny Claws Playstation Mini

I recently worked on this really cool very retro yet contemporary game with the most excellent guys and gals at Mediatonic.

Not only was this game a joy to work on it is also a great deal of fun to play!

Background artwork and objects for 3 of the 5 island areas in the game.

Doctor Who? Matt Smith? On the Wii?? YES!!

I did a few bits and bobs on the Wii version of the new Doctor Who "Return to Earth" game. Mainly HUD graphics and some of the ingame icons and cursors.

It was an experience to say the least....

I had the pleasure of working on a rather nice update of an old facourite, Sensible World of Soccer for the Xbox 360. Kuju Sheffield have done a wicked job on this new version.

Blobbit Push is complete!! Whoopeee!!


Deranged Vernimb!!
 
 

Poor Blobbit. As if heís got nothing better to do than rescue Blobbit Babies from the marauding Vernimb, never mind avoid Count Grabula and his incredible detachable head!

Blobbit Dash is an original game thatís fun to play when youíve five minutes spare. Wonderful bright colour graphics, cute sound effects and a soundtrack that youíll be humming for days.

Monkey King is an old-skool platform game, capturing the essence of classic arcade games from the 80's coupled with kick-ass graphics and sound from the 21st century.

Guide Monkey King around the Emperor's Peach Groves, collecting the peaches of immortality. For each level he has a single Buddha Breath - which can be topped up by collecting Buddha tokens.

Cannon Fodder was an awesome game on the Amiga, and this new version captures the bullet firing fun of the 1993 original.

War has never been so much fun!

Working on the original Sensible Soccer, one of the greatest football games ever made was a great experience for me back in the early 90's.

I'm glad to say the new mobile phone version captures the essence of the original and is a worthy addition to any handset.

Tuna Tech have done an excellent job on this conversion of the hit Console game to the Gameboy Advance.

I was responsible for the FBI and death animations on the project. To achieve such fluid animation every single frame from the original Flash animations had to be scaled, paletted and then redrawn, an intense but thouroughly rewarding process. The results speak for themselves.
